2026 Rosa L. Parks Gala & Awards
Saturday, December 5, 2026 | Montgomery, Alabama
For more than seven decades, Montgomery has reminded the world that transformational change can begin with one courageous decision. Yet Mrs. Parks also understood that movements are sustained by generations of people willing to lend their voices, resources, influence, and service to the cause of justice.
The Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute’s annual Rosa L. Parks Gala & Awards honors the legacy of Mrs. Parks and recognizes individuals who are carrying her work forward.
This year’s Gala will pay special tribute to the courageous women whose leadership, sacrifice, faith, and determination helped sustain the Montgomery Bus Boycott, while honoring contemporary leaders who continue to open doors, challenge expectations, and create opportunities for those who follow.
